Once you have sent in your official entry form and accompanying paperwork, monthly results can be submitted on the official
Bates Pony Dressage National Leaderboard card either by posting a copy or send via email.

Alternatively, fill in your results on-line following each event that you compete in

All results must be received at the ASPR Federal Office by the 10th day of each month, starting from March, 2011
ie: February results must be received at the Federal office by 10th March, 2011.
When submitting official results online, please note the following :

  • Results must be from EA official dressage events that offer a minimum of 1 test at all levels from Preliminary to Advanced
  • Victoria, SA, WA, NSW & Qld  -  Only the single best result for each day of the event will be recorded for points
  • Tasmania  -  Two best results/day for each event will be recorded for points
  • Northern Territory  - Three best results/day for each event will be recorded for points

ALL YOU NEED TO ENTER IS

  • Print out and send in the Entry Form with the entry fee of $20 per pony per section
  • OR, enter and pay online
  • A copy of a current height certificate. (Maximum height is 148 cms without shoes) must be forwarded to the ASPR Federal Office, PO Box 594, Echuca Vic 3564
  • If a current height certificate is not available at time of entry, a notation will be recorded against the pony until such time as a height certificate can be supplied. Height certificate must be submitted by 31st January, 2012 in order for pony to remain eligible.
  • Height certificate may be from EA, RAS or a show horse council.
  • EA Membership card & Registration certificates are no longer required as these will be checked with the relevant EA State Branch to ascertain eligibility.

Open and Junior

At the end of 12 months, the winner of each section will receive a

plus an inscribed woollen rug

winners to be announced in February, 2012

HOW TO EARN POINTS

  • Results must be from EA open official dressage events that offer a minimum of one (1) official test at ALL levels from Preliminary to Advanced
  • Victoria, SA, WA, NSW, ACT & Qld  -  Only the single best result for each event will be recorded for points
  • Tasmania  -  Two best results for each event will be recorded for points
  • Northern Territory  - Three best results for each event will be recorded for points.
  • If an event runs over two or more days and is hosted by the same club/group, the best (Vic, SA, WA, NSW, ACT & Qld) result for each day of the event will be recorded for points. (Two best results/day for Tas and three best results/day for NT.)
  • HC, Associate, Interschools, Young Riders and Freestyle results are not eligible for points.
  • Open  -  A minimum percentage of 60% must be gained for Preliminary & Novice and a minimum of 58% must be gained in Elementary to Advanced in order to be eligible for Leaderboard points
  • Junior - Rider must at least turn 10 yo in 2011 or a maximum of 16 yo in 2011.

NATIONAL LEADERBOARD
  • Junior  - There is no minimum percentage and the single best score (Vic, SA, WA, NSW, ACT & Qld)  for the event must be listed on the PD Leaderboard card (Two best results for Tas and three best results for NT.)
  • Juniors may also enter the Open section but Open section minimum percentages will then apply.
  • A monthly Leaderboard will be published that will list all points gained for official results. However, at the end of the Leaderboard year, only the best 8 results will be taken to ascertain the outright winner.
  • As a Leaderboard will be published at the end of each month, you must submit a copy of the official Bates Pony Dressage National Leaderboard card by the 10th day of each month with the first results to be received by 10th March, 2011. The Leaderboard card will be forwarded on receipt of your entry.
  • OR, you can submit your results online by the 10th of the following month.
  • Results not received by the 10th of the month will not be eligible for points.
  • A copy of the Leaderboard card may be either mailed, sent via email or completed online (see below). Incomplete/illegible cards/results will result in no points allocated.
  • Points will be allocated on percentage gained eg: if you score 62.546% you will receive 62.546 points. If you score 60.312% you will receive 60.312 points. If you gain 75.417% you will receive 75.417 points etc. (Please record percentage scored to 3 decimal places)
  • In the event of equal winners at the end of the Leaderboard year, the pony with the single highest percentage will be the winner.
  • Leaderboard will be for events run between 1st Feburary, 2011 to 31st January, 2012.
  • Results will be recorded from receipt of entry at the ASPR Inc. Federal Office and may not be backdated.
  • Results will be independently audited at the end of 6 months and at the end of the Leaderboard year.
  • Prize will be awarded to the registered owner of the winning pony.
  • The Top 3 placegetters in both the Open and Junior sections may not submit results from the same level as the previous year for Preliminary and Novice. Ie: If the majority of results (50% plus) were submitted from Preliminary in the previous year, only Novice and above results may be submitted. If the majority of results (50% plus) were from Novice in the previous year, only Elementary and above results may be submitted.
  • Upon declaration of the winners, no protests or further correspondence will be entered into.
