* Ponies must not exceed 149 cms (14.2 5/8 hh) with shoes or 148 cms (14.2 1/4 hh) without shoes

* Rider does NOT have to be a member of the EFA and pony does not have to be registered

with the EFA to compete in the Unofficial Pony Showjumping, Freestyles or Associate dressage

* Rider must be a senior or junior member of the EFA and owner must be at least an

associate member of the EFA in order to enter the Official tests. Pony must be registered

with the EFA and have a Pony Dressage Performance Card.

* Riders do not have to be members of the Australian Sports Pony Registry Inc. and ponies

do not have to be registered with the ASPR Inc.

* Ponies do not have to be registered with any other breed group.

* EFA & FEI rules apply.

* Pony must be a minimum of 4 years of age for the showjumping classes and must be a minimum

of 3 years of age for the dressage classes.

* Copies of all dressage tests and freestyle tests Novice to Advanced can be downloaded from the EFA National web site

* A copy of the Dressage NSW Preliminary Freestyle can be downloaded from the DNSW web site

* A copy of the Pas De Deux test can be downloaded from the DNSW web site

'Evergreen Sporthorses' Pony 6 Bar

* Pony 6 Bar event will be held on Saturday evening, 25th April in the Indoor Arena

* Pony must be a minimum of 4 years of age as at 1st August, 2008

* All obstacles may be kept at the same height or at progressive heights.

* Starting height of first jump will be approx. 45 cms. Jumps will be raised in 10 to 15 cm

increments.

* In the event of a refusal or run-out the rider must restart the course at the obstacle where the fault

was made.

As an indication of height,

the 2007 Victorian Pony 6 Bar winner

jumped 1.25 metres

and in 2008, the Victorian winner jumped 1.20 metres

Stallion Parade

You are invited to participate in our Stallion Parade where we will

feature some of Australia's premier pony stallions.

You may present your stallion in the parade either led or under saddle.

The Stallion Parade will be held in the Indoor at SIEC on Saturday evening

If you would like to enter our parade, please contact the Event Secretary or Ph 03 5482 2777

Stallions will be ‘paraded’ for approx. 5-10 minutes and details on your stallion will be read out to spectators by our announcer during this time. Stallions will appear in groups of 2-3,

dependant on numbers and breeds entered.

The inaugural NSW Pony Challenge is dedicated to the memory of Poppy Boon-Wyles.

Poppy was a founding member of the ASPR and the main instigator of this event. She will be sadly missed by all of her friends on the committee and the members of the ASPR
